SUMMARY:Truck Count
DESCRIPTION:Community based truck counting is the on-the-ground assessment of on-road truck and vehicular traffic passing through a neighborhood at a given time. We will also be monitoring the air pollution that’s given off in these locations! \nWhy are we doing this? This type of data is invaluable in showing disparities across and even within communities when it comes to heavily trafficked roads that are located near where people live\, work\, and play. \nYou’ll have several opportunities to join us at either 8am\, 12pm\, or 4pm on both days. We’ll also have a virtual information session on Tuesday\, April 25th at 10am and 6pm for those who’d like more information on the event. Food and refreshments will be provided. \nHere’s a link to sign up. We’ll be offering volunteer hours for high school and college students as well!
